Earth Observation Satellites

Using as a basis the experience gained from the development of the SAR-Lupe satellite constellation (<1m), OHB-System is offering systems for commercial and institutional high-resolution earth observation systems in the visible, infrared and radar ranges. In addition to catastrophe management, these systems are also required for security purposes as well as for humanitarian aid, particularly European missions. 

For this purpose, OHB-System has developed the underlying models and the design for radar and optical earth observation satellite constellations (2-3 satellites each), all of which can be implemented immediately using technology which is currently available. With its experience, OHB-System covers the entire chain, i.e. mission planning, construction, launch, operation and data evaluation, and is therefore able to offer turnkey systems.
